ConnectFamilias' (CF) project Live Safe/Viva Securo builds on existing crime prevention efforts in the Little Havana community in collaboration with City of Miami Net Office, City of Miami Police Department, Miami-Dade Community College InterAmerican Campus, service provider network and resident leaders. ConnectFamilias partners understand that addressing the risk of criminal activity is an essential component in enhancing the safety and well-being of children, youth, and families in Little Havana. 

 Live Safe/Viva Seguro is funded by The State Attorney's Denise Moon Memorial Fund, a donor-advised fund at The Miami Foundation.  Established in 2009 by the State Attorney's Office for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida in Miami-Dade County, the Fund was created in memory and honor of Denise M. Moon, who died in 2004 after working three decades as a pioneering leader and advocate for victim services in Greater Miami-Dade County.
